WC Smith President John Ritz was named Person of the Year by the Catholic Business Network of Washington, DC. The award was presented at CBN’s annual gala on Oct. 12.
The Catholic Business Network is an independent, non-profit organization of businesses and individual professionals working together to create valuable networking opportunities while supporting the Catholic Church’s education mission in Washington, D.C.
For 47 years, 36 of those as company president, John has been a key architect of WC Smith’s success, as well as a respected and fair-minded colleague and supervisor, and a passionate advocate of DC’s housing industry and its communities.
In 2022 he was given the David Millman Maverick award from the Apartment and Building Owners Association of Metropolitan Washington.
