Four WC Smith Properties Earn “Elite 1%” Rankings

Four WC Smith properties have placed in J Turner Research’s 2020 “Elite 1%” national survey of apartments. For the second straight year, 2800 Ontario was the top-rated property in Washington, DC. Avec made its debut on the list, ranking #4 in the District. 2800 Ontario ranked #53 nationally, out of the 1,300 properties that comprise the Elite 1%. The other WC Smith properties that were honored are Park Vista (an affordable property) and 2701 Connecticut.

This is the fourth consecutive year that 2701 Connecticut made the list; 2800 Ontario and Park Vista mark three consecutive appearances among the Elite 1%.

The Elite 1% ORA™ Power Ranking is an annual ranking developed by J Turner Research. Based on monthly online reputation research of more than 122,000 apartments across 20 review sites and Internet Listing Services, J Turner assigns an independent Online Reputation Assessment Score (ORA™ Score) to each property, and this score determines a property’s rank. J Turner Research is an independent market research and online reputation management company exclusively serving the multifamily industry.

For the year 2020, a total of 1,303 properties earned the Elite 1% distinction. To be eligible for this ranking, a property had to register a minimum ORA™ score of 90.  For properties with the same ORA™ score, the property with the higher number of reviews ranked higher. The national average ORA™ is 65.73.
