The Collective, WC Smith’s flagship property in the Capitol Riverfront, participated in Brent Elementary School’s annual Holiday Tree sale. Brent is a DC public school in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
As part of its event, Brent provides a free Christmas tree, with ornaments, bows and stands, to families in need throughout the District through a partnership with Everybody Home DC and a few area schools. For many of the families it’s the first Christmas tree they’ve ever had.
This year, through sponsorships from local businesses, organizations and individuals, including The Collective, Brent was able to deliver trees to 47 families.
