Eight WC Smith-managed properties were ranked among the top-100 apartment communities nationwide in J Turner Research’s new TALi awards. The award recognizes the communities with the highest TALi (Turner Apartment Loyalty Index) Survey Scores.
Three properties – Wakefield Hall, the Frontenac and 2701 Connecticut Ave. – ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. The other honored properties were: Hampton Courts, 2800 Woodley, Clarence House, Dupont Apartments and The Norwood.
In addition, four Smith properties were among J Turner Research’s overall 2024 “Elite 1%” Power Ranking: 2701 Connecticut, The Collective, Avec and Brunswick House.
To be eligible for this ranking, a property had to register a minimum ORA™ score of 93 and have at least 20 online reviews. Nearly 1,400 properties were among the Elite 1%.
This is the eighth consecutive year that 2701 Connecticut made the list; it’s the first time The Collective has made the list. Brunswick House marks four consecutive appearances and Avec marks three consecutive appearances among the Elite 1%.
The Elite 1% ORA™ Power Ranking is an annual ranking developed by J Turner Research. Based on monthly online reputation research of more than 140,000 apartments across multiple review sites and Internet Listing Services (ILSs), J Turner assigns an independent Online Reputation Assessment Score (ORA™ Score) to each property, and this score determines a property’s rank.
