Two WC Smith properties have been named finalists for the Washington Business Journal’s 2023 Best Real Estate Deal (BRED) awards.
Skyland Town Center is among four nominees for the BRED in the new development category. The other finalists are The Wharf, Phase 2; NoMaCNTR (a mixed-use development in DC’s NoMa neighborhood) and Marriott International Headquarters, in Bethesda.
Terrace Manor was nominated for a BRED in the Financing category, in which it is up against The Stacks (a multi-use development in DC’s Buzzard Point) and the AC Hotel/Residence Inn Reston Town Center.
Several WC Smith projects have won BRED awards, including City View, 2M, Skyland Town Center (2014), Canal Park and THEARC.
This year’s winners will be announced April 27.
