A quiet and tight-knit residential neighborhood in Northeast DC, Riggs Park (otherwise known as Lamond Riggs) is bordered , this neighborhood is bounded by Riggs Road NE to the south and east, Eastern Avenue to the north, and Blair Road NE, Kansas Avenue NE, and North Capitol Street NE to the west. Proximity to the Fort Totten Metro station and major thoroughfares such as the Capital Beltway and Baltimore-Washington Parkway make the neighborhood convenient for commuters. The community also offers easy access to amenities such as a Giant Food supermarket market just across the Maryland state line and two recreation centers, including the brand new Riggs LaSalle Community Center.
